Guitarist/Composer/Recording Artist

B.Mus Hon (Victorian College of the Arts)

Alain has been playing guitar since a young age.

Having explored and performed an eclectic variety of styles and genres he is a guitarist drawing infuences from Flamenco, Brazilian, Classical, Jazz, Rock, Indian and Latin styles, creating a hauntingly beautiful New Age and contemporary sound’

He leads his own world music ensemble “Chandrikaya” – a unique blend of traditional instruments with live looping and samples. 

He is also active within the health system as an aid to diversional therapy as performing artist.

Guitarist Adelaide/Australian performances of Astor Piazolla’s ‘Maria de Buenos Aries’ opera the Adelaide Art Orchestra

Selected as one of five finalists for the Ike Isaccs International Guitar award. 

Alain was also part of the 2019 “Resonance’ program for the Adelaide international guitar festival. A touring program outreaching to regional health and community facilities.

As part of the First Nations Voices Adelaide Fringe Show 2021 awarded ‘Best Music Award’ overall for the season.

His recent collaborations with award winning Sufi Singer (Pakistan) have won international accolades across continents. Continuing with touring, International recording and Performance.

Commissioned composition for a variety of fields and applications. From theatre sound design, dance and a wide variety of music platforms.

Vast experience as an educator of Guitar and Music.
